Situated in close proximity to IU’s campus, we offer furnished accommodations that are suited for achieving classroom excellence.

All 6 houses are secure and well maintained with shared kitchens, bathrooms and common areas. Most houses include living rooms, laundry, and outdoor amenities such as patios and/or porches.

Maintenance is always prompt and courteous.

Our Amenities

Private Furnished Rooms

Rooms include a twin-sized bed, mattress cover, bookshelf, dresser, mirror, desk and chair, closet, and lamp.

Internet Access

All properties include Wi-Fi and each room has a wired Ethernet connection.

Kitchens

All properties include shared kitchens on both ground and basement levels. Dish racks, toasters, and microwaves are provided.

Common Areas

All properties include common areas. Common areas may include some or all of the following: furnished living room, furnished dining room, porch, patio with picnic table, or deck with picnic table.

On Bus Routes

All six properties are located on local and IU bus routes with a stop at the corner of East Atwater Ave. and South Eagleson Ave.

On-site Laundry

All properties have a coin-operated washer and dryer with the exception of 326 South Eagleson Ave., which shares the laundry facility at 1331 East Atwater, next door.

FAQs

The houses offer furnished private single rooms and shared bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas. All are fully heated and air conditioned. Utilities, regular trash and lawn service are provided. We strive to quickly respond to any maintenance problem that may arise and ask for your help in quickly reporting the issue.

We rent to both IU Bloomington and Ivy Tech Students.

Guests are welcome; however rooms are single occupancy as stipulated in the lease. Please respect your neighbors and be courteous.

A normal lease is from August to August, dependent upon IU’s schedule. Some exceptions are possible, including early move-in dates if the room is available. One and two semester leases can sometimes be accommodated with priority going to existing tenants.

We encourage recycling; however we do not have enough space to accommodate both regular trash and recycling at each property. If you wish to recycle, you must transport recycling materials to the appropriate locations.

Cable television is NOT included in the rental fee and will NOT be provided by us. Each tenant is responsible to set up and pay for their own OR shared cable television service.

Smoking is not allowed inside any of the houses. This includes incense and candles.

On-site residential parking is available at all properties except for 326 South Eagleson and 1331 East Atwater. These houses have a temporary parking driveway for loading and unloading, but if you have a car, you will be required to get a parking permit from the City of Bloomington for the neighborhood zone.
